How to Use Find The Fun
A step-by-step guide for locals — finding events, saving favorites, getting reminders.
Get the app (or just use the web)
The easiest way to use Find The Fun is on your phone. Visit findthefunwallawalla.com/install and tap the badge for your device — App Store for iPhone/iPad, Google Play for Android.
You can also use the site directly in any browser — no app required.

Create your free account
On iOS: open the app, tap the Account tab at the bottom, then tap Sign in with Apple. Apple will ask you to share your name and email.
On the web: click Sign In in the top-right and choose Google, a magic link (we email you a one-click sign-in), or an email and password.
You only need one account — it syncs your saved events across every device.

Browse what's happening
Open the app to the Discover tab, or visit the homepage on the web. Events are shown in chronological order, with featured venues pinned to the top.
Use the filter chips to narrow down:
- When — Today, This Weekend, This Week, or All Upcoming
- Category — Trivia, Karaoke, Comedy, etc.
- Tags — specific interests like "Bingo" or "Live DJ"
- City — tap the filter icon in the top-right to narrow to Walla Walla, College Place, Waitsburg, etc.
Tap any event card to see full details — location, time, tickets, and a map.

Bookmark events you want to remember
Open any event's detail page. Tap the bookmark icon in the top-right corner (it looks like 🔖) — it turns lime-green when saved.
All your saved events live in the Saved tab on iOS or the Saved Events page on the web. Tap any saved event to jump back to its details.

Get reminders before the event
On iOS: tap Account → Reminders. On the web: visit account preferences.
Turn on email reminders (on by default) and/or add your phone number and opt in to text reminders. Pick how far ahead you want to know:
- Day of — the morning of the event
- 1 day before
- 3 days before
- Weekly digest — a roundup each Monday of what's coming up
Text messages only go out for events you've saved. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

Add events to your calendar
On any event detail page, tap the calendar-plus icon. On iOS this adds it directly to your Apple Calendar. On the web, you'll download a .ics file that works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and most others.

Link your Apple sign-in with your web account
If you signed up on the website first and then used "Sign in with Apple" on the iOS app, you may end up with two separate accounts — Apple's Hide My Email feature gives you a proxy email that doesn't match your real one.
To merge them: in the iOS app tap Account → Link existing account, enter the email you used on the website, and we'll text you a 6-digit code. Enter the code and your bookmarks, phone number, and preferences move onto your Apple sign-in.

Frequently asked questions
Is the account free?
Yes — creating an account, saving events, and getting reminders are all completely free.
What kinds of events are listed?
Trivia, karaoke, comedy, DJ nights, bingo, sports viewing parties, and more. We do not list local live band or concert performances — for those, visit tricityvibe.com.
How do I unsubscribe from the weekly newsletter?
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom, or toggle it off in your account preferences.
I signed in with Apple but my saved events from the website are missing.
Apple's "Hide My Email" creates a separate account from your web login. In the iOS app, go to Account → "Link existing account", enter your web email, and we'll send a 6-digit code to merge the two.
How do I stop receiving text reminders?
Reply STOP to any reminder text, or turn the Text Club toggle off in the Reminders screen on iOS or in your account preferences on the web.
How do I delete my account?
On the web, visit your account page and use the "Delete Account" button at the bottom. On iOS, Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, saved events, and device registrations.
